American harpist and composer Mary Lattimore uses minimal means for maximum impact. Her incantatory, slow-building compositions take you to a dream world where everyday misery has no place. On her new album 'Goodbye, Hotel Arkada', Lattimore is joined by Slowdive singer Rachel Goswell and The Cure's Lol Tolhurst, but the protagonist always remains the harp. We can already hear the birds of Protected Paradise happily singing along.
