On Sunday 18 May, children and youngsters take centre stage at LABIOMISTA! During ‘Day of the Cosmogolem - Rebel Giants’, Koen Vanmechelen's 4m giant brings magic, limitless imagination, and wild adventures to the 24-hectare park.
Around the world, the Cosmogolem helps children grow and flourish by letting them play and dream. On 18 May, he invites you and your family to LABIOMISTA's ‘Rebel Giants’ for a surprising programme filled with free activities!
The Cosmogolem, an ancient giant who once watched over the interconnectedness of all living things, has fallen into a deep sleep. Only together can we awaken him! So, we embark on a mission: building wooden friends as symbols of connection, dancing, drumming, and brewing to the rhythm of nature. We transform into warriors, birds, and dreamers with wild hairstyles, magical tattoos, and the wild gene as our inner compass. Together with the Rebellious Giants – colorful stilt walkers – we parade through LABIOMISTA.

Practical Info & Program
The Day of the Cosmogolem runs from 2 PM to 5 PM, but the park is open continuously from 10 AM to 7 PM.
All activities are free of charge
Free admission for children and young people (up to 18 years old) and residents of Genk.
Parents from outside Genk do need to buy an entrance ticket, which can be purchased online or on the day itself at the reception.
